Following are some screen shots from the bonus features found on disc 2 of tomorrow’s Platinum Edition DVD release of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The first four are from the 45-minute “Making of” feature, the next two are from a featurette on a reunion of the film’s special effects animators, while the final two are from a featurette highlighting Hans Christian Andersen and his original story of the love-struck mermaid. A ninth image helps to dispel an unfortunate urban legend that has arisen in regard to the movie. Another grab bag entry is planned for tomorrow.
The bishop’s knobby knees remain . . . and they are nothing but knees. Another frame from this same scene showing the knees from a different angle has been altered to clear up any confusion.
