Variety via Superhero Hype reports that Hong Kong-based Imagi Entertainment will produce a computer animated movie adaptation of the 70’s television series Gatchaman. “The film will retain the series’ five caped superheroes, known as the Intl. Science Organization, and pitch them in a new story against their frequent nemesis Galactor.” Kevin Munroe will write and direct the project. For the time being, however, Munroe is focusing his attention to next year’s CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A teaser trailer for Turtles will debut at next month’s Comic-Con.
