Two-time Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor John Dykstra will make his directorial debut with Walden Media and Relevant Entertainment’s Tortoise and Hippo, reports The Hollywood Reporter. The film is based on the true story of a baby hippo and 100-year-old tortoise that were rescued from the Indian Ocean following the Asian tsunami.
