With its new Fall Line studio, the Walt Disney Company will create video games exclusively for such Nintendo systems as Wii, DS and Game Boy. Based in Salt Lake City, Fall Line will be run by Scott Novis, who headed production on the recent Cars video game. As Disney CEO Robert Iger stated last September, Disney can earn more money by developing its own games instead of of licensing characters and content. According to Sun-Sentinel.com, Disney chose Nintendo as a partner due to the younger demographics of both companies. Furthermore, at $250, Nintendo’s Wii is less expensive than the Xbox and PlayStation 3.
