Video Business indicates today that Peter Jackson’s Lord Of The Rings and King Kong films will be among the first titles offered on high-definition DVD disc, alongside Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire and the Mission: Impossible trilogy, the third of which is out in theaters this summer. Other titles that feature animation or groundbreaking visual effects include RoboCop, Terminator 2 and Ice Age, which will all see premieres on the formats before the end of the year.
