In preparation for his animated series Class of 3000, André “André 3000” Benjamin asked Tom Kenny, possibly best known as the voice of Spongebob Squarepants, for advice on vocal acting. “Since it’s animated, you can do so much with your character. I mean, you can jump up in the air and stay there for five seconds, so the voices have to go there too,” says Benjamin to MTV News via Contact Music.
