Box Office Guru records that Robots dropped 40% to the #2 position in its second weekend, with an estimated gross of $21.8 million. After ten days, the CGI toon has pulled in $66.9 million, looking to end its domestic run in theaters with around $125 million. In comparison to its Twentieth Century Fox/Blue Sky predecessor Ice Age and last fall’s Shark Tale, Robots is currently running behind 23%.

In the meantime, Sony’s release of the Japanese anime film Steamboy took in in an estimated $150,000 from 39 theates, for a “so-so” $3,846 average.
