The Toronto International Film Festival has announced several new features for its 30th annual event which will include the North American premiere of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. The TIFF which will be held September 8-17 consists of several events that display works from all across the film industry. Nick Park, co-director of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation release, will also be a featured speaker in the festival’s traditional Maverick’s series of “leaders and innovators in the world of cinema.” IndieWIRE also reports that the festival will play host to Art Project: The Ghosts of Woodrow on September 12-13 which will be centered on the shorts of Graeme Patterson. The stop-animation artist’s exibit is inspired by his native Saskatchewan herritage, focusing on the “crumbling legacy of the Canadian farm.” The 30th Toronto International Film Festival is presented by the Toronto International Film Festival Group.
