Though the news has yet to be confirmed, a post at The Internet Movie Database suggests that Glenn Close, Matt LeBlanc, Jon Lovitz, Candice Bergen, James Spader, singer Ashlee Simpson, Adam Brody (television’s The O.C.), and Felicity Huffman (television’s Desperate Housewives) have been approached to join the cast of Sony Pictures Animation’s Surf’s Up. Also, look for a cameo in the film by well-known teenage surfer Bethany Hamilton, the unfortunate victim of a shark attack in which she lost her arm. Surf’s Up is scheduled for release on June 22, 2005.
