Wired Magazine has a very enlightening three-page article describing the aspects and history of DreamWorks Animation and its CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, while also comparing and contrasting the studio to Pixar. In addition, the writing spotlights DreamWorks Animation’s insistence on producing more computer animated films per year than any of its peers. “People say that our eyes are bigger than our stomachs, and I know it all seems kind of Herculean,” says Katzenberg. “Sure, no one has done it before. But I’ve always been this way. Show me the impossible and dare me to do it. Most of the time I will find a way.”
The article also notes that Shrek 4 is scheduled to hit theaters in 2010.
