As previously declared by Jerry Bruckheimer, the subtitle for Pirates of the Caribbean will not be “Treasure of the Lost Abyss”. Now, a scooper for JoBlo has pointed to the “Johnny Depp Fan” messageboards in which a person posted their experience attending the Pirates of the Caribbean event at the El Capitan Theatre. Apparently, the screenwriters and other crew members who were discussing the movie noted that the subtitle for the Pirates sequel would be “Dead Man’s Chest”. In addition, they stated that Keith Richards is not in the second film.
