Business Wire reports that JibJab Media, the company responsible for the popular election parody This Land, has created three new animated shorts, set to make their debut at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. The trailers, each with a running time of 30- to 40-seconds, will appear in front of every film at the festival. The shorts revolve around “absurd” characters who decide to leave “The Man” and voyage out in new-found independence. However, a Line Painter, Dog Catcher and Demolition Expert soon realize that being “Independent” can be hazardous to your health. Following Sundance, the trailers will be online to view exclusively at JibJab’s official website.
