Via Coming Soon, Threshold Animation Studios and Lions Gate Family Entertainment announce the cast of Foodfight!, a CGI comedy about the unseen scene in the grocery store. Joining previously announced cast members Hillary and Haylie Duff are Charlie Sheen as the main character, Dex Dogtective; Eva Longoria as Lady X, leader of the villainous Brand X group; Wayne Brady as Daredevil Dan; Chris Kattan as Polar Penguin; and Christopher Lloyd as Mr. Clipboard. Plus, audiences should look for cameos from some famous name-brand faces, such as Mr. Clean, Charlie the Tuna, and Twinkie the Kid. Utilizing a budget of around $65 million, Foodfight! is directed by Threshold CEO Larry Kasanoff. The film’s screenplay, written by Brent Friedman, Rebecca Swanson, and Sean Derek, is based on a story by Kasanoff and Joshua Wexler. The Foodfight! will begin November 17, 2006.
