USA Today reveals more of the cast and plot for Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. In the franchise’s next chilly chapter, Manny the woolly mammoth (Ray Romano), who believes he is the last of his kind, finds a potential love interest in Ellie (Queen Latifah). The catch, however, is that this female woolly mammoth thinks she is a possum, thanks to interests she has developed from her possum friends Crash (Seann William Scott) and Eddie (Josh Peck from Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh). Ice Age 2 also introduces Fast Tony (Jay Leno,) a shady armadillo. The article adds that fans of the first film need not worry: Scrat and the dodos will make an appearance in the sequel as well.
