LOS GATOS, CALIFORNIA (July 8, 2005) – George Bruder, Kevin Cureton, and Marlon Montgomery have formed Mind The Gap, Inc. to offer feature animation pipeline development and consulting services. The company combines the expertise of Bruder and Cureton in designing effective feature animation pipeline solutions with Montgomery’s wide-ranging production management experience.

Mind The Gap, Inc. is positioned to become the leading provider of feature animation pipeline services by creating cost-effective customized solutions for animation studios new and existing. The company will market their services and products in the U.S. and abroad. Mind The Gap, Inc. is currently developing an asset and production tracking system for Vinton Studios’ first animated feature film production.

George Bruder has over 24 years of experience in the entertainment industry with a unique blend of expertise in art and technology. Bruder was the Principal Architect at PDI/Dreamworks for the animation pipelines on the feature films Antz, Shrek, Shrek 4D, Shrek 2 and Madagascar. After PDI/DreamWorks, he joined Montgomery at Vanguard Animation in London as Pipeline Tools Engineer on the feature animation film Valiant.

Kevin Cureton has over 13 years of large-scale systems engineering experience in feature animation production, video game production, and web development. Cureton recently worked as a Technical Art Director for Electronic Arts (EA), focusing on pipelines for next-generation game console development. Prior to EA, Cureton worked as a Senior Production Engineer for PDI/Dreamworks with a primary focus on pipeline infrastructure and asset management tools.

Marlon Montgomery has over 10 years of experience in production and technology management for animation, most recently as Production Manager on Vinton Studios cg animated short Moongirl. He previously worked on the feature animation film Valiant produced by Vanguard Animation in London. Prior to Vanguard, Montgomery worked with Bruder and Cureton at PDI/Dreamworks as Senior Animation Technology Coordinator.
