Comics2Film reports that the 1960’s Marvel Superhero Show hits stores on June 28, 2005, in a five-disc DVD boxset. As pointed out in the article, the animation for the show basically consists of actual pages of comics, moved around somewhat. Still, as the website notes, “It may not have been great, but it was ambitious.” Each segment of the Marvel Superhero Show lasts approximately six minutes, with every episode featuring three segments. One hundred and ninety-five segments were created in all. It is likely that each of the set’s five discs mainly features one of the show’s five leading characters, including Captain America, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, The Mighty Thor and The Submarinor. Thanks again to George C at the AN Forum for the heads up!
