AWN covers the story of DIC Entertainment and Mainframe Entertainment’s announcement that the world premiere of Inspector Gadget’s Biggest Caper Ever: The Case of the Flying Lizard will be at Cartoons on the Bay 2005 in Positano, Italy. The film, marking the CGI debut of Inspector Gadget, will be screened at the Cartoons Village, at 9:30pm on April 27th, the inaugural evening of the festival. The plot for Inspector Gadget’s Biggest Caper Ever: The Case of the Flying Lizard is, “When a living prehistoric Giant Flying Lizard egg is found in Metro City, the Mayor wants it for a tourist attraction and Dr. Claw wants it for world domination. Gadget, along with his sixteen-year-old niece Penny and her smart dog Brain, must rescue the egg when Claw steals it, and save Metro City.”
