According to Reuters, the Walt Disney Company announced Thursday that Robert Iger and Michael Eisner will share the company’s chief executives duties until Eisner retires at the end of September. Additionally, the company made it known that Chairman George Mitchell will not stand for reelection to the board at the 2006 annual meeting, such as Mitchell had previously suggested.
