The Internet Movie Database observes that from Wednesday, January 26 through Friday, January 28, Michael Eisner conversed with DisneyWar author James Stewart, from mid-afternoon to 10:00pm. These talks consisted of Eisner attempting to persuade Stewart to make thorough alterations in the anticipated book, coming to stores nationwide on February 22, 2005. Oddly enough, supposedly, many parts of the book that Eisner was denying were taken from Eisner’s own autobiography. On Monday, January 31, Stewart responded to Eisner’s urges, insisting that the deadline was up for him to make changes, to which Eisner replied, “I own a publishing company. You can always delay.”
