The Associated Press (via Yahoo! Business) has an article covering Roy Disney and Stanley Gold’s repeated vote of “no confidence” for the Disney Company, as well as their current criticism of the board’s handling of the search for a CEO successor. “The two dissidents have acknowledged progress made by the Disney board, but said the board’s actions would ultimately be judged in light of how they handled succession planning. The two said they would withhold their votes for the board ‘until we see that this board has faithfully discharged its duties in this most critical of board functions, and that Mr. Eisner steps down as CEO and as a member of the Board upon the culmination of the process in June.'”
