After starring in the Oscar-winning short Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave, Shaun the Sheep is getting his own television show, tells the Animation World Network. At MIPCOM 2005, the show was pre-sold to ABC Australia, TVNZ New Zealand, SVT Sweden, DRTV Denmark, NRK Norway, YLE Finland and Minimax in Hungary. The series will follow Shaun as he encounters problems that threaten his peaceful life, while making some unlikely friends in the process. Production on the series started in September, eyeing a December 2006 delivery date. Folks should look for Shaun the Sheep to hit airwaves in 2007.
