On Friday, August 19, at 7:30pm the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be screening select Oscar-winning animated shorts from the last seven decades. The program begins with Disney’s The Three Little Pigs and ends with Pixar’s For the Birds. Ferdinand the Bull and Ward Kimball’s classic Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom are playing as well. Other shorts shown this evening will feature Tweetie-Pie, Pepe Le Pew, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny and the Pink Panther.
