Dark Horizons discloses some interesting information regarding the upcoming Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest. ‘Fawn’ from the Dutch press writes, “This week I was invited to the Space Mountain 2 presentation at Disneyland Resort Paris. I got to talk to someone at Disney and we got into a discussion on how Disney ‘milks’ great animated classics by producing direct to dvd sequels. Of course the subject of Bambi 2 came up. It seems that Disney really wants to do a great job with this sequel. They want to match the animation to the one that was done in 1942: the audience must not see the difference. According to the Disney representitive they succeeded in doing that (she had seen several scenes already). The story also isn’t a boring ‘Son of Bambi’ tale, but goes back in time and shows how Bambi was raised by his surrogate father. Call it the missing years.”
Bambi and the Great Prince to be a "great job" by Disney?
