Just as Shrek begins to search for Baby Goomba, he receives an urgent notice:

Jury duty at the Michael Jackson trial.

While eating, Shrek finds two golden tickets to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. [Song: “Accidentally in Slug”]

Shrek and Donkey hold an Oompa Loompa hostage. Shrek: Tell me where Goomba is! Oompa Loompa: Oompa loompa doompadee doo…

Donkey questions a mysterious stranger. Donkey: Just tell me where the ogre’s son is! Stranger: He’s in the basement of the Alamo, I tell ya!!!

If you still think this storyboard art is the real deal, you must have very low expectations of Shrek 3. Happy April Fools Day!

By the way, I feel that now is the appropriate time to announce my retirement from Animated-News. As it turns out, a well-established organization has seen my above drawings and would like for me to join their institution as an artist. Thus, it is with a fond farewell that I leave my former home at Animated-News and move to my new residence at the Happy Meadow Preschool Center in Alaska.
