Through Science Daily comes word that doctors may soon be allowed to visualize the heart in ways unachievable before, thanks to virtual reality. According to a pilot study from the open access journal Cardiovascular Ultrasound, virtual three-dimensional animated images, or holograms, of the heart, including its interior, may soon assist doctors in diagnosing heart conditions quickly and easily.
