Flushed with the success of their Looney Tunes: Golden DVD Collection late last year, it seems Warners are already looking towards a second boxed set for Bugs and co. The Studio also sounds like it’s pleased with the ongoing popularity of the single-disc super-hero and Hanna-Barbera animated releases, and will finally take fans’ comments on board with a series of season sets, now in production. Following recent rumors, The Digital Bits all but confirms that we should see The Flintstones: Season One, The Jetsons: Season One, Johnny Quest: The Complete Series and Batman: The Animated Series “probably late 2004 or early 2005”. Other full season animated titles are also planned.

In related news, Toon Zone reports that Buena Vista may finally be close to issuing a season one Gargoyles collection, again “slated for release in the fourth quarter of 2004”.
