With the wider release of the acclaimed documentary Walt: The Man Behind The Myth making its way to DVD on March 2nd, DVD Toons have updated Ben Simon’s original review of the disc, from November 2002, which comes highly recommended for those unlucky enough to not catch it first time around. Also on the site, and coinciding with that first, hard-to-find limited release, is a great re-posted interview with Walt’s daughter Diane, on how it was living with her Dad, growing up in Walt’s household, visiting various Disney projects in development, and the putting together of the Walt documentary. It should also be noted that Walt: The Man Behind The Myth, on DVD, is an extended re-cut, adding half an hour to the broadcast and VHS tape versions for a new length of almost 120 minutes, while the disc itself also includes an additional two hours of new and rare material from the family archive!
