Another Tintin may be in the works, according to Moviehole. Besides the Steven Spielberg adaptation in the planning stages now, acclaimed, and exiled, director Roman Polanski “is also purportedly interested in trying to bring the European adventurer to the big screen. He’s apparently eyeing Tintin in Tibet”.

Moviehole also reports that “two names being branded about [for the lead role in Spielberg’s version] are Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) and Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot). Elliot is said to be a favourite with the director, but ‘since he only wants to do just one film, not two or more, Rupert Grint was then mentioned'”.
