No word yet on the highly anticipated film sequel to Disney’s 1982 computer fantasy Tron, but good news in from Toon Zone, who report that the original film will be getting an archival re-release from May 10th at Disney’s El Capitan theater in LA for ten days! Tickets for the opening night will sell fast: original costumes and memorabilia will be on display and there will also be a panel discussion moderated by legendary visual effects artist Harrison Ellenshaw, with such participants as director Steven Lisberger, visual effects supervisor Richard Taylor and production designer/futurist Syd Mead on hand to talk about the ground-breaking landmark film.
