Don’t say we didn’t warn you! After months of rumored production stories and the reportedly terrible film that emerged, the Spy Kids-update of Thunderbirds has crashed and burned in the US top ten, following a less than stellar debut in its UK homeland last week. With estimates entering the film in the American chart at number nine, Thunderbirds is a thunderbomb for Universal, with just $3.2m in the bank, half of even the stodgy Catwoman‘s second week take of $6.2m.
