Animated films took the top two box office spots this weekend according to Box Office Mojo. In its second week The Incredibles took the #1 spot again with $51 million, bringing its total to $144 million. The Polar Express had a $23.5 million three-day opening weekend – good enough for only the #2 spot this week. Its 5 day total was $30.8 million. Box Office Mojo adds that The Polar Express’s $23.5 million three-day opening total puts it at #20 on the list of “biggest opening weekends not at #1”.
