Philly.com reports again this morning on Roy Disney’s plans to oust Michael Eisner from the hot seat of The Walt Disney Company, and the press conference held in Philadelphia the day before the Disney Company’s annual shareholders’ meeting. “We’re not going away until Michael Eisner is gone,” said Stanley Gold, Roy’s partner in the Save Disney campaign. “We’ll be here next week, next month, next year”.

Yahoo News has more on the story, with a report from the “alternate” shareholders meeting Disney and Gold set up for late afternoon yesterday. More links, such as the headline “Disney Plans to Split Jobs of Chairman and Chief Executive” from the New York Times, can be found, along with new pictures of the Save Disney Briefing, at the SaveDisney.com site.

Across the web, other stories are springing up, covering the Briefing yesterday, and today’s official Disney shareholders’ meet. Of most interest are interviews with Michael Eisner, the point of view from Comcast’s Brian Roberts and especially a great page from BBC NEWS which covers all aspects and includes additional analysis, as well as an online video report from Philly, in RealPlayer format.

The news stories just keep coming in! Already, in two short hours this morning, the Google search on “Disney/Philadelphia” has risen from just over 300 stories filed to almost 400! Just added was a lengthy look at yesterday’s meeting held by Roy Disney and Stan Gold for the Save Disney campaign at Mouse Planet.com.

Finally, C. W. Oberleitner, for Jim Hill Media, reports on yesterday’s “rally” for Save Disney, and Jim Hill himself weighs in with his own brief summary.
