Matthew Williams at Toon Zone reviews the new animated series The Batman, which debuts on Kids’ WB this Saturday, September 11, at 10:30am (ET). His verdict: “Even to a casual fan, this is nothing but a huge train wreck. It insults the Batman franchise almost as much as Batman and Robin because the creators obviously have no idea how to do a decent Batman cartoon, or a decent cartoon in general, even though several of these producers have extensive cartoon experience. Whether you blame it on the writers, the producers, or even Warner Bros. Entertainment, this is an unmitigated disaster and a blight to the Batman name.”
