Save Disney.com this morning has a slightly new look (a full upgraded site is on the way), with Legacy Animation Studios’ Eddie Pittman offering up a visual take on the closing of WDFA-Florida. The page also re-prints Disney’s official statement regarding the Studio, which has president David Stainton announcing that “this difficult decision was based on what is best strategically for our business in both the short and long term. Having the entire animation group working together in Burbank under one roof will further enhance our filmmaking process”.

Roy Disney has spoken out about the closure, with comments similar to those that have appeared on SaveDisney before, and the site also gathers a number of links to other related news pages and commentators, including Jim Hill Media, who reports today on the actual meeting between Stainton and the crew at WDFA-Florida.
