CBS Marketwatch reports that Roy Disney has made a Securities and Exchange Commission filing outlining what he believes are the mistakes of the Walt Disney Company over the past decade. “Roy Disney looks at the time period from when Eisner assumed the lion’s share of day-to-day operations at Disney in 1994, when President Frank Wells was killed in a helicopter crash and studio chief Jeffrey Katzenberg left to run DreamWorks SKG… The document took issue with several controversial moves made by the entertainment giant since the early 1990s”, and noted such failures as EuroDisney, Go.com, Disney’s California Adventure, and the ABC Family channel. A spokesman for Roy Disney said “all we want to do is encourage Michael to retire”.
