The New Zealand Herald reveals that a writer has been hired to pen a screenplay for Prince Caspian, the possible sequel to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Nonetheless, the second film will not proceed production until Disney is pleased with the box office reaction of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

In related news, although an actor has yet to be named as the voice of Aslan, scenes using an animatronic lion have already been filmed, including some “pivotal” scenes.
