According the Drudge Report, actor and political activist Sean Penn has written an angry letter to Matt Stone and Trey Parker, concerning their making Team America: World Police. An excerpt from the letter includes, “You guys are talented young guys but alas, primarily young guys. It’s all well to joke about me or whomever you choose. Not so well, to encourage irresponsibility that will ultimately lead to the disembowelment, mutilation, exploitation, and death of innocent people throughout the world.” Perhaps time will tell if the letter was truly being penned by Penn. Sneak previews are showing today for Team America: World Police, while the movie will open nationwide next weekend.
