Here’s the last three of the ten recently released pictures from the upcoming DVD release of Disney’s interquel, The Lion King 1½. All three are from the Virtual Safari 1.5, “Timon’s version of a theme-park ride, which includes spoofs on famous Disney attractions, including It’s A Small World and Haunted Mansion.” The second image is a “Pirates of the Caribbean” parody featuring Pumbaa in place of the Portuguese mayor who is being dunked in a well by pirates anxious to find out from him where the hidden treasure is (this scene is from the ride as well as one of the deleted scenes from the movie). The third image parodies the infamous “Haunted Mansion” stretching pictures in which several characters at first appear to be enjoying tranquil, carefree scenes until it is slowly revealed that they are, in fact, in perilous danger of losing life and limb.
