Ray Harryhausen to Speak at Ex’pression College for Digital Arts
Emeryville, California, USA
April 27, 2004

Ex’pression College for Digital Arts will host an afternoon with stop-motion legend, Ray Harryhausen at 3:00 pm. Harryhausen is the undisputed genius behind such memorable fabrications as the T-rex of The Valley Of Gwangi, the giant ape of (the original) Mighty Joe Young, the fighting skeletons of Jason And The Argonauts and the giant crab of Mysterious Island.

There will be a videotape presentation of Harryhausen’s work followed by a question and answer session, after which he will sign copies of his new book Ray Harryhausen: An Animated Life, which will be for sale at the event. Published by Billboard, the book is a heavily illustrated guide to the life and, more importantly, the work of arguably the premier special-effects master in Hollywood history.

The presentation and book signing are free and open to the public but space is limited. Please e-mail maia@xnewmedia.com to RSVP and reserve a seat. For more information, visit http://www.expression.edu.
