Mainframe Entertainment, the Canadian animation company responsible for some of the most prolific CG television animation of recent years, including Re-Boot and the Barbie video movies, is developing its deal with extreme skateboardist Tony Hawk. Previously announced as Feasters, it now looks like the show, about “a rag-tag group of unlikely heroes trying to land tricks, fit in at school and grow up”, will be called Tony Hawk’s Shade. The show will feature “extreme skateboarding action, death-defying stunts and top secret missions”, as it follows the adventures of the Shade gang: “a team of kids who, beneath their helmets and pads, are Lincolnville’s last line of defense against the forces of evil”.
