PAUL MCCARTNEY’S MUSIC & TOON COLLECTION COMES TO EGYPTIAN.
The American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theatre will be presenting
a special children’s matinee screening of PAUL MCCARTNEY’S MUSIC AND
ANIMATION COLLECTION on April 17 at 2:00 pm. This special program is
the L.A. premiere of three award-winning animated short films
written, produced, voiced and scored by Paul McCartney. All
screenings are at the newly renovated Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre, 6712
Hollywood Blvd between Highland and Las Palmas.

TROPIC ISLAND HUM, TUESDAY and RUPERT AND THE FROG SONG feature two
songs and an orchestral suite never released on disc in the U.S. The
program also includes two mini-documentaries showing Paul McCartney
and his team creating the 2D animated films. In one documentary
interview, McCartney speaks of his passion for animation and the
early Disney films that inspire him. The screening is suitable for
children age 6 and older. The program is courtesy of MPL and Miramax
Home Entertainment – celebrating the DVD release of PAUL MCCARTNEY –
THE MUSIC & ANIMATION COLLECTION.
