Yes folks, The Digital Bits have reported a November 2nd release date for the second volume of Looney Tunes: The Golden Collection, with a retail of $64.92. Though a final list of shorts and specs have yet to surface, the excellent website ‘TV Shows On DVD’ posted a list of 60 shorts back in June, which we reported about here. Cover art (pictured at right, featuring some wonderful “old school” character designs) has also been released for this great set. Be aware though, that like the Premiere Collection of last year – featuring just two of the discs and none of the extras of the Golden Collection – Warners is releasing a similar 2-disc Spotlight Collection on the same day as Volume 2. And as was advised last year – be sure to “go for the gold!”
