In what will be disappointing news for Looney Tunes fans, we can now confirm that, unless it’s an amazing well hidden feature, the Chuck Jones documentary Chuck Amuck is not included on the new Looney Tunes Golden Collection Volume 2, despite recent rumors. The four disc set is packed out with many other as yet unannounced special features, such as A Conversation With Tex Avery and a TV pilot for The Adventures Of The Road Runner, plus music-only and voice-only supplemental tracks for The Three Little Bops and What’s Opera, Doc? (which also features commentary from Chuck himself)! The set includes many of the requested titles that didn’t make the volume one cut (Little Red Riding Rabbit, Porky In Wackyland, The Dover Boys, One Froggy Evening and You Ought To Be In Pictures), as well as the four-and-a-half-miniute cartoon Daffy Duck For President, specially completed for this collection. While not as zippy as the classic Bugs ‘n’ Daffy shorts, its slower pace is a fond memorial to its writer, Chuck Jones.
