To celebrate the release of The Lion King 3: Hakuna Matata (aka Lion King 1½) on DVD and video in the UK on Monday 16 February, Disney are holding a special screening of the film at London Zoo the day before release, on Sunday 15th. For entry details, check out here:

Eight lucky winners and their families could be off to the London Zoo in Regent’s Park, with free entry to the zoo, the exclusive screening of the film, plus food, drink and a goodie bag also included to make this a fun day out for all the family. There’s also the chance to stick around and see a real-life Simba and his animal friends!

To enter the competition, which is being run by the Evening Standard’s Metro Life newspaper supplement in association with toothbrush manufacturers Oral-B (who feature Simba on their kids’ products), all you have to do is call 0901 030 1542 and leave your name and daytime telephone number. Calls cost 25p and the person registering must be over 18 years of age.

Alternatively, e-mail your details to lionking@es.co.uk – only one e-mail per person, and again the entrant must be over 18. All entries must be received by 11.59pm on Monday 26 January 2004.

The competition is open to all UK residents, though employees of Associated Newspapers, Disney UK and Oral-B are not eligable. Good luck!
