The Ultimate Disney site takes an in-depth look at Disney’s upcoming DVD release of Home On The Range. The review confirms that the included Three Little Pigs short is not the Totally Twisted Fairytale version Disney made in the late 1990s, but a new three-minute short featuring the cast of Home On The Range and directed by that film’s directors. Also of note, and as the site says, “oddly enough not mentioned in the press release or anywhere on the package, there is a feature-length audio commentary included featuring producer Alice Dewey Goldstone and co-writers/directors Will Finn and John Sanford”. Though not as packed as other Disney releases, it’s nice to hear that Home On The Range hasn’t been totally left out to dry! The disc will be available from September 14.
