Kenan Thompson of Barbershop 2: Back in Business and cast member of NBC’s long-running late night comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live has been cast in the title role. “The film will start with animation, move into live-action and end in the animated world.” And in an additional link to the animated world the same article informs us that Jeremy Suarez, who provided the voice for Koda in Brother Bear, will be providing the voice for Fat Albert’s friend Russell. With news like this, a big screen adaptation of the Harlem Globetrotters show can’t be far behind.
