CNN has an interesting report on Andy Serkis, his new book, and the creation of Gollum for The Lord of the Rings. The book is called Gollum: How We Made Movie Magic and contains Serkis’ point of view of the character’s creation from the beginning (his agent told him this job would consist of just 3 weeks of voice work for an animated character) to the end (talk of an Oscar is still in the air).
