The Hollywood Reporter reports that Finding Nemo was honored along with fellow films Seabiscuit and Dirty Pretty Things, and television series Joan of Arcadia and The Bernie Mac Show as the top finalists announced Wednesday for the 2004 Humanitas Prize. The Humanitas Prize, celebrating its 30th year, honors writers whose work “honestly explores the complexities of the human experience and sheds light on the positive values of life.” The recipients of the award receive $25,000.
