 Animation Magazine reports that the Spanish animated feature, El Cid: The Legend, has finally got a new distributor, Hannover House, and will debut on U.S. screens in September 2004. The film is one of five features competing at the prestigious Annecy Film Festival, and one of four Spanish animated films ready for global distribution by Filmax. “El Cid is an 82-minute adventure story based on the legend of the Spanish hero, Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, who fought in the name of King Alfonso”.
