The Animation World Network has posted Michael Eisner’s end-of-contract letter to the board of The Walt Disney Company, in which he announces his intentions to step down as CEO in September of 2006. Also re-printed on the page is the response to the news by the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, one of the leading shareholders in the company that withheld its vote for Eisner at the last shareholders’ meeting.
